Learn To Swim


HEAD COACH - Tom Steuer is our new coach. You can look forward to meeting him at the Starfish Family Picnic on Sunday, September 8th at Niskayuna's River Road Park.

Amy Hilton currently teaches 2nd grade for the Guilderland Central School District. She recently completed her Masterís degree in Education at The College of St. Rose. Amy attended the University of Buffalo in 1993. At Buffalo she swam the 100, 200 & 500-yard freestyle events and anchored their freestyle and medley relays. Amy transferred to the University of Albany where she graduated with a business degree in 1997 and was Captain of the swimming, water polo and golf teams.  While at Albany, she broke ten university swimming records and was honored with Academic All-American status. After graduating, Amy worked in NYC as an Information Systems Consultant for Anderson Consulting and swam on their Corporate Olympic Team.

Lori Antolick is an attorney currently working for the State of New York. Lori graduated from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1997 and Syracuse College of Law in 2000. While at Johns Hopkins, she swam the 100 and 200 Breaststroke and was a member of the 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams. Lori was UAA Champion in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke her sophomore and senior years and was a finalist at the Division III NCAA Championships both years as well. She was named an All-American and Academic All-American Swimmer while at JHU. Lori currently lives in Troy with her husband Greg. 

Chuck Dunham is currently in his senior year at the College of St. Rose majoring in public communications. While swimming at St. Rose his freshman and sophomore years, Chuck broke seven school records, was undefeated in the 100 fly and was selected as Athlete of the Week five separate times. A graduate of Shenendehowa High School, Chuck was Shen team captain his senior year and led Shen to both the Adirondack League and Suburban Council Championships. Chuck also serves as an assistant coach for Shen High School Boys and Girls swim teams.
